Invitation to the IFHE Annual Leadership Meeting 2011

Dear IFHE Members, dear interested Home Economists,
On behalf of the IFHE Executive Committee and the IFHE Symposium Organising
Committee, we would like to extend a warm invitation to all Home Economists and
interested persons a round the world to attend the International Federation for Home
Economics (IFHE) Annual Leadership Meeting 2011, in the historic city Mainz
situated at the Rhine in a wonderful wine area.
One special highlight will be the Symposium Day with the focus on “Ageing”.
International experts will present their aspects and perspectives. In four working
groups the participants will have the opportunity to discuss:
· the developments and consequences for societies around the world,
· strategies, experiences and research results as well as
· contributions of Home Economics research and education to meet the
challenges.
The preparations of the activities of the different IFHE Programme Committees and
the IFHE Council Committees for the upcoming IFHE World Congress 2012 will be
another focus of the IFHE Annual Leadership Meeting 2011.
While attending to the important business of the IFHE Annual Leadership Meeting
2011, we invite you to enjoy the culture and historic buildings of Mainz.
